Just in case you have forgotten what my kids look like....here are a couple more pictures of them! ( We think they are pretty cute!!)

I guess it's been a while since I've posted anything. I am a slacker!
I think we have all mostly recovered at our house. My mouth is still a bit sore, but I'm not taking anything for pain anymore. The Dr. says it will be about 6-8 weeks to be fully recovered. All I have to do now is use the syringe to keep the sockets flushed out after I eat and just wait for them to close up.
We went to Columbia, TN this past weekend and celebrated my mom's birthday. It was a big one complete with black balloons and dead flowers. We had a good time, and always enjoy a visit with our families!
Todd is preparing to preach at church this Sunday, and then school starts on Monday. So, he is busy and getting back into the groove of studying (ugh!).
Brandon is back in school full swing. We've been learning about snow and ice. You would think we could go outside this time of the year and experience this first hand. However, it has been way too warm this winter. We are all hoping for some real snow, but none seems to be in store for us. Oh well...not much we can do about that.

Well, the verdict it in....Todd has strep throat. So, we are laying around the house this weekend trying to make sure the kids don't kill each other! They have definitely watched more TV than normal in the last few days! Thankfully we are both on the road to recovery. Todd plans to return to work tomorrow and hopefully I'll be able to teach school and have a somewhat normal day with the kids.
We are thankful for our wonderful friends who have made sure we have had food to eat and run errands for us this weekend! We are SO BLESSED!!!!

I am now officially a "dumb blonde!" I had all of my wisdom removed yesterday by the oral surgeon! I am at home recovering....ice packs and pain pills. It's not been too bad since those first few hours after surgery. I just wanted to let you know that all went well.
Todd has been trying to take care of me and the kids while not feeling well himself. He is headed to the convenient care clinic this morning to see if he can find out what is wrong. I'll keep you updated.

Well, we didn't finish the closet by this morning, but we finished it tonight! We still have a few small things to put away and organize, but for the most part it is done! Yeah! I have much more needed storage space now! Todd worked very hard and did a great job "creating" the new shelving!
I had a consultation with the oral surgeon today. The plan is for me to have surgery on Friday morning to extract my 4 wisdom teeth. Of course I had to read and sign all the papers telling me all the horrible things that could possibly go wrong. Don't they know I only have 3 days to be "laid up?!?!" My husband has to go to work on Monday morning and I need to be recovered and ready to take care of my kids!! We'll see...

Have you ever considered coming to visit us? Well, if you have....please don't come this weekend! Our house is a complete disaster at the moment! We are in the process of completely redoing our laundry room/closet. Everything from this room is spread all over our house. We are planning to paint, put down a new floor, put up new shelving and reorganize everything as we put stuff back in. And we hope to have all this done by Monday morning! At this point it seems like an impossible goal! We'll let you know. This morning, the kids had a blast helping me clean off the walls. They had sponges and soapy water and went to work. Now they are in the bath getting cleaned up from helping me clean up!

Happy New Year! Can you believe it is 2006?!?!?! We rang in the new Year at our church with 3 other families and had a great time. Brandon was proud that he stayed up so late that it was the next day! (Of course, he took a really good nap on Sunday!)
We are excited about seeing what God has in store for us this year. We desire to spend more time studying God's word, praying, meditating, and doing all those things that God desires us to do. I never really make a "New Year's resolution," but if I did, this would be it.
School starts back on January 30th. I will be taking a "real" seminary class with Todd this semester called Marriage and Family Enrichment. It is a requirement that the husband and wife take this class together. We are definitely excited about this class. Todd will also be taking the 2nd semester of Hebrew.
Our church is currently seeking a Children's Minister and a Youth Minister. If you are interested in either of these positions or know someone who is, please let us know!
