I hope everyone had a wondeful Easter yesterday! We had a very festive weekend including 2 Easter egg hunts, coloring eggs, making cupcakes with baby chicks on them, making Resurrection cookies, having friends over for Easter dinner, and of course, celebrating that Jesus is alive!!! We also got the new Chronicles of Narnia - The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe movie and watched it. Todd thought it would be a great time to watch it because of the symbolism in the movie. He spent some time explaining all of this to Brandon. Bekah was oblivious and just kept asking "Where's Lucy?"

Bekah wore more of her cupcake than she actually ate of it!

Well, I feel the need to give Bekah equal blog space, so I'll tell you all something cute she said too. On Tuesday we were all out in the back yard. I was mowing the yard and the kids were playing. When I turned the mower off Bekah asked, "Mommy's all done vacuuming?" I thought it was cute!

Brandon said something silly today and I just thought I would share it on here. We were doing some school work and he had made a mistake that I asked him to fix. He said, "That's okay, everyone makes mistakes." And then he said, "saying that makes me think I want to eat some steak with barbeque sauce!" What a silly boy!

Where has the month gone?!?! I guess we've just been busy doing "stuff" and I haven't been on here in a while. Let's see.....Brandon had his first karate lesson, we all went to see the Curious George movie, I spent several days at my parent's house, I went to a Beth Moore conference in Chattanooga, we've all been sick, and now we are enjoying Todd's spring break from school! Well, most of us are enjoying it...Brandon is still recovering from strep throat. He's had a few sick days off from school, but we were able to get back in the swing of things today.
The weather here is wonderful and we have enjoyed being outside today. I dug out the plastic Easter eggs and baskets and the kids enjoyed egg hunts in the back yard today. Not much news....just the usual stuff.
