The Big Apple!

Todd and I awoke a few minutes before 4 am yesterday to start our adventure! We drove to Nashville, TN for a flight to Baltimore and then caught another plane to Long Island. There we were picked up by a limo service and got a long ride through Long Island, Queens, and crossed the Queensboro Bridge into Manhattan. We were dropped off at our home for the next week, the Omni, around 2:30 in the afternoon. After settling in, we hit the streets of New York!
Here we are in the airport, ready for an adventure!
Our flight
This is from our car, just entering into Manhattan.

Times Square

Our first meal in New York was....pizza!

We looked around in the huge 5 story Toys-R-Us which included a ferris wheel you can ride. Our kids would have gone crazy in this store!

Lego creations!

The huge Barbie house made us think of Bekah!
We ended our day worshipping with Redeemer Presbyterian. The service was held at FBC, Manhattan. The service was packed with mostly young adults and was a mixture of lots of nationalities of people. Just a brief glimpse of Heaven....worshipping with every tribe, nation and tongue! Tim Keller is the preacher, and Todd was familiar with him so he wanted to check out the church. We definitely enjoyed it!
