Sleeping Beauty Party
Our baby girl will turn 5 on Wednesday, so this past Saturday we had her birthday party. She chose a Sleeping Beauty party this year!
The cake was a joint effort. Bekah chose strawberry cake with pink icing so it would be pink and pink. Mommy baked the cake, and Mrs. Sonja made the frosting. Mommy frosted it, then Daddy smoothed it and decorated it. I think it turned out nice!
She is ready for her guests to arrive! We served hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, cake and ice cream.
This was one of her favorite gifts....Barbie and the Diamond Castle movie.
The crowd sings, "Happy Birthday Dear Bekah!"

Some of the girls stayed to spend the night with us. Here they are getting beautiful....

After the movie, it was time to dance!
Even Kyla got in on the dancing fun!
Time for bed! Bekah wanted Kyla and Mrs. Kara to spend the night too, so they stayed until about 9:00. Thankfully, all the girls were asleep before 10:00!
The next morning. Bekah chose Barbie pop-tarts for everyone to eat for breakfast.
Bekah wore her new birthday dress to church the next morning.

Congratulations on your daughters birthday, 5 is a big step. And a Sleeping Beauty part is an awsome idea. I can tell from the pictures it is a birthday she will always remember.
