Before and After






















In 2008 I lost about 30 pounds. I am finally getting around to posting before and after pictures! I am committed to making exercise a priority in my life and have kept off the weight for almost 2 years now. I want my kids to grow up thinking that exercise is just a part of life, so that they might continue with it after they are on their own. I didn't drastically change my eating habits to lose weight, but I did quit drinking any calories. There are plenty of good tasting calorie-free drinks, so I made the choice to eat my calories instead of drink them. I didn't give up any particular foods, I just try to make wise choices most of the time. I eat plenty of desserts, because I couldn't live without those! I just try to do so in moderation and make sure that I work out to burn off the calories! The picture on the left was taken June 8th, 2007, and the one on the right was taken September 1st, 2010. (I cannot get the pictures to line up side by side, but that is what I was trying to do!)

    Good for you! And you did it smart, without any fad stuff. Such a good example for your kids... and us other moms, too!
