What's Up?

I know, I know, I never blog. So, what's been going on with us? We are thoroughly enjoying the fact that Southern Seminary is in session, but Todd is not attending!! He comes home at night and we can decide to do whatever we want! We have been trying to get together with church members more often, and Todd has been able to help out with some of Brandon's school stuff in the evenings. We've also had time to just hang out and play the Wii or watch movies, and we spent one warmer Saturday hiking in the woods!
I have also been preparing to teach a women's Bible study at church. Our pastor's wife usually teaches, but she is due to have a baby right in the middle of the session, so she asked me to teach this time. We'll be studying a book by Cynthia Heald called, Becoming a Woman of Freedom.
This weekend Todd and I will be starting a 3 weekend training session for Biblical counseling. This is one step toward us becoming certified NANC counselors. This is something we have had interest in doing for a while, but never could because of Todd's schoolwork. So, we are excited to be starting this process. We will see how God will use this counseling training in our ministry in the future. The conference meets Friday nights from 5-9 and Saturdays from 9-5 every other weekend. So, I have been busy trying to arrange childcare for these three weekends. I am so thankful that God has blessed us with so many great friends up here to help us out!
Todd and I are also looking forward to a stay at the Leavenworth Inn B&B at the end of February. Our great friends gave us a gift certificate to stay there for Todd's graduation/our Christmas gift. Thank you Chris and Sonja! And the kids are looking forward to spending some time with Grandmom and Grandpa while Todd and I are there. This will be an early spring break from school that will make us all happy!
Bekah lost her first 2 teeth! She lost the 2 middle bottom teeth just 4 days apart. She lost the first one and the second one was falling over in the middle of her mouth, so it looked like she just had one tooth right in the middle. Finally, Todd decided it was time for it to come out and he pulled it out! We do have pictures, but they are still in Todd's camera, so hopefully I can post those soon.
Brandon also lost a tooth recently. He lost his first molar and the new tooth is already about half way grown in. It had been a long time since he had lost any teeth, so he was quite excited. We have been keeping the tooth fairy busy at our house!
We did have about 3 inches of snow last week when the big snow hit Kentucky and Tennessee. It didn't last long, but it was enough for the kids to get out and enjoy it. Here is one of the pics Todd took of the kids sledding with the neighbors.
