Brandon is an official gradaute of "Safety Town!" This is a free program here in New Albany for 5-7 year olds. They have a 2 week course on all aspects of safety. They learn about fires, strangers, railroad tracks, bicycle safety, street signs, etc. They also get to tour the fire station which is right across the street from their class.

This is Brandon riding around the miniature town. He's in the black clothes (these are his karate clothes because he had practice right afterwards) and riding a red bike. They have to practice going the right direction and stopping at stop signs and red lights. They also have to have a turn being a pedestrian and crossing the road at crosswalks, etc.
This is a great class sponsored by the local Pilot Club. Brandon thoroughly enjoyed it!!!
