Another One Bites the Dust

On Friday afternoon Bekah lost her other front tooth! She was having a snack in the car just before dance class. As she was biting on her chip her tooth was twisted in a funny position and she kinds of bit her tooth. It started bleeding a little bit so I told her to take a drink. She really didn't want to take a drink because she is afraid of tasting blood. But, since we were in the car, she really had no other option. After taking a drink she looked at me and I noticed the tooth was gone! I asked her if she swallowed it and she said she thought she had. Then she took another drink from her straw and then quickly spit out the drink along with her tooth. Her tooth had gone down in her straw and came back up with the next sip! She was very excited!! My big girl is growing up!!

Toothless!

Bekah's top front tooth has been very loose for quite a while. Daddy pulled the first 2 teeth she lost, but she did not want him to pull this one. Yesterday Bekah and Brandon were playing karate together and somehow he accidentally hit her in the mouth. It knocked the tooth so loose that she just reached in and pulled it out! She was excited to put it under her pillow and get $1 from the "Tooth Daddy!" The tooth right beside it is pretty loose too, so it won't be long until she gets another dollar!

Happy Easter!

We had a very nice Easter weekend. My parents were able to come up on Thursday afternoon to spend the holiday with us. Todd took a day off from work on Friday, so we were able to all be together. My parents took the kids to see a movie at the theater that afternoon, and Todd and I did some shopping. Friday night Bekah had dance class and then we all went out to eat together. On Saturday, we had our annual egg hunt at church followed by our neighborhood annual egg hunt. So, the kids now have their fill of Easter candy! (Although Brandon gave away all his candy from the egg hunt at church.) Sunday we went to church together and then came home and had our Easter dinner and then my parents headed home. We spent the rest of the day just hanging out and relaxing and trying out the kids' new Easter gift - Mario Kart for the Wii!

Saint Patrick's Day Pictures

Here are the kids in their costumes they made pointing to the pot of gold! They played a game where one of them would hide the pot of gold and then lead the other one to find it.

Here is Brandon eating his green breakfast with the books we got from our library about St. Patrick's Day.
