It's been a while since I've updated. Things have been busy and we've been celebrating the birth of Jesus!
The sad news is that my Grandmom passed away on Sunday, December 18th. These are some pictures from the last time we got to visit with her at Thanksgiving. We were also celebrating Bekah's 2nd birthday that day (thus the pictures of Bekah with the gifts). My Grandmom celebrated her 93rd birthday just 3 days before she left this Earth to go and spend eternity with her Savior! She got a wonderful birthday/Christmas gift this year! We will miss her terribly, but look forward to seeing her again someday!
The good news is that we did have a great time of being with our families this Christmas. We spent time with both families and then returned to our house on Christmas Eve. We got to see our church family on Christmas morning and then enjoyed a fun day at home. We are SO BLESSED!!!

We are very busy getting ready for Christmas....shopping, wrapping, cooking, partying, etc. It is fun, and we are trying to enjoy it and not stress over it! The kids are loving everything also. Every morning when Bekah gets up she looks at the tree and says, "light on." She wants the Christmas tree lights on at all times. She also tried to unwrap 2 presents under the tree this morning! She thinks the "party" is for her! We are trying to make sure that both kids understand the "party" is for Jesus and we are celebrating his birthday at this time.

Bekah got her first haircut this week. I took her to Fantastic Sams where they give free first haircuts. Basically, all they did was even the ends and you can hardly even tell she got a haircut. She did great sitting up in the chair and being still. Mommy was proud of her.

Well, the forcast said we might get 7 or 8 inches of snow yesterday. So, we anticipated it all day and it never came! We did end up with about 2 inches of snow, ice and sleet and went out to play in it anyway! By the time we got outside our wonderful neighbors had already cleared our sidewalk and driveway and had made us a snowman by our front door. Of course all the "boys" enjoyed a snowball fight! (The big boys and the little ones!!) We are looking forward to more snow this winter! We love it!!
